Papers of Charles Cooper, an art teacher at Lane Technical High School and amateur photographer and painter, who photographically documented cultural events around the city for use in teaching his art class and organized school photography clubs. The papers include copies of Cooper's poems (many related to his paintings), essays on Jewish art, some correspondence relating to artistic and literary matters (including 3 letters from syndicated columnist James J. Kilpatrick), and 2 of Cooper's wills: an Ethical Will (1992 Dec 27) and a Living Will (1993 Jan 15).
